Well it works both ways. If we win it then brilliant it is another trophy in the cabinet and it does contribute in getting the club back to the past However, if we go out of the competition then we wouldn't dwell on it as it is not at the top of our priorities.

Wow, you read it all? Thank you for the kind words. I have been happy with our achievements so far but I will not be fully satisfied until that Champions League trophy is sat in our cabinet along with the other ones.

Results


This month is yet another perfect month to add to the growing list of “perfect months”. The only negative I can find in this month is that we allowed one goal to be conceded; it isn’t like it affected our position at the top of the league. I am now in limbo of whether to let Andre Ayew leave or not. He is a great player but I haven’t warmed to him since he joined the club. I am finding it more effective to play the midfield combination of Shelvey and Lucas who are unstoppable at the moment. Real Madrid have offered £16million for Ayew’s services...this might just be too tempting.

Cheers Rookie. I can't have any complaints at all to be honest. The season is going well and I wouldn't be overly surprised if we can be the invicibles for a second season in the Premier League in a row.

Sterling definitely deserved that award as he has been in great form. He is such an exciting prospect and I am sure he will be with the club for a very long time and it will be a successful career for him at Anfield.

I spent £23 million on Varane. That may seem an inflated fee but he has already put in a number of solid performances and as of next season I can see him being one of the first names on the team sheet. Another exciting player at the club.
