Football Manager 2018 Summer Transfer Update (FMTU) Upgrade
pr0 & Stam have been working diligently to provide the best possible service with their revolutionary FMTU platform. The installation of a very functional and accessible transfer wizard allows for easy edits to be made by any user. FMTU has a rather similar interface to FM itself, but is a step above in terms of presentation. Brilliant work from the two, with an idea which will revolutionise the way we play FM forever. FM18 Manager Stories
With the World Cup going on, it is quite feasible that the story writing has plummeted in recent weeks, with few stories being updated regularly at all now. This will surely change after the World Cup, and we can expect it to be more active. For now, I'll talk you the stories that have been working through the paces. BobbyGGaming continues to deliver Youtube updates of his adventures with San Marino in the FM18 - San Marino Challenge, and has recently reached the promised land of Serie A football. FM-LD has begun a new adventure in Graham Westley: Back for more!, as he looks to lead Stevenage Football Club to glory. He has had a strong pre-season with the club, and big things are expected of this Stevenage side. andybooy's level of consistency has to be admired in (FM14) Drink up thee cider. The past week has seen his Bristol City side compete in a cup final, and thrill in a very exciting European run, as the season looks set to come to a thrilling end. Serial story writer ScottT has continued to impress with his Les Canaris: Foreign Fever with FC Nantes of Ligue 1. An impressive start to the season for the Canaries will have been down to the manager's hard graft on the training ground. Justice's community story FM Scout: The Hunger Games (FM18) has detailed the UEFA European Championship 2024, where contestants have been fighting valiantly to reach the final. Only two teams have made it to the final, with only one able to lift the trophy. Last, but certainly not least, JT's Redemption: The Story of the Nearly Men has continued to keep us on the edge of our seats. His Stade de Reims side has made a strong push for European football in the most recent season, and you should read his story to catch up on their progress. That concludes the summary of the more consistent stories over the past week. We would love to see more stories posted, so feel free to share your adventure with us! If you have any questions, don't be afraid to contact a fellow author / use the 'General Chat' to find an answer. [written by Justice] |

It was a strong month for JT and his Redemption: The Story of the Nearly Men story, as he earned the Story of the Month award! He earned 5 of 8 votes, which is a whopping 62.5%. Big congratulations, as it was a much deserved award. [written by Justice] |
FM18 Tactics
There have been no validated tactics over the past week, for a very simple reason. While a few tactics have been uploaded and are awaiting validation, we have not had much time to work our way through this list over the past week, and to check if each upload is suitable for publication. From skimming through what we have, there are some very good articles which detail the tactics well, and will hopefully be validated soon, but there are also a lot of tactics which have very little detail at all, if any. We require some sort of a description of the tactic which isn't just 'This tactic score lots of goals. Won league first season with no transfers', and we would also appreciate screenshots of the tactic itself so as we can make a thumbnail for it. We don't have time to download each tactic to pull up screenshots for you. Please present your tactics in a way which is clear for the public. Of course, that doesn't apply to all the tactics which we have received, and we hope to have time over the coming days to validate some of them. [written by Justice] |

That's the digest for this week. We had to whittle down what has happened to just ten pieces, so some things did miss out. Perhaps they will make in to next week's edition. Thank you all for reading, I hope you enjoyed it, and I shall see you all next week.
