Every year we have several unofficial addons that one could combine in order to make the FM database feel close to the upcoming official one.
However, there wasn't enough time to justify putting together such a bundle because we'd normally get access to the new game in a matter of 6 weeks or so (between the summer transfer window closing and the early access of FM starting).
This time is different as we are forced to wait several more months until we get our hands on FM 25.
We asked the community and the majority (more than 50%) voted for a DLC for FM24 with updated squads. A lot of them are even willing to pay for such a DLC if Sports Interactive would release one.
So the sentiment was "let's do our own FM25 and make that DLC for FM24"!
We reached an agreement with TheNotoriousPr0 and SirTAVARES to bundle together a mix of their files, alongside the best transfer update that is FMTU.
As a result, we proudly present to you the FM24 to FM25 DLC which is a collection of data files that will bring your next FM24 save as close as possible to the official FM25 database.
In a nutshell, that means you will get almost everything ready for the 2024/25 season, including updated squads, promotions / relegations, league format changes, new wonderkids, as well as player ability changes.

Version 10 is the final repack of our season 2024/25 DLC for FM24. You will find newer versions of the TRANSFERS file on FMTU (roughly every 2 weeks for free members & live download for premium members) and newer versions of the PROMOTIONS and CA/PA UPDATE files on NotoriousPr0's monthly pack (which also includes FMTU).

Promotions, Relegations & Updated EU Places
Clubs will be competing in the correct league for the 2024/25 season. It covers all the top European leagues and then some. You will find several files instead of just one because the FM24 pre-game editor doesn't allow merging files in case there are also competition changes involved.All files by TheNotoriousPr0 except 1 by SirTAVARES (Brazil).

There are 3 files solely with comp changes and 9 others combined with promotions and relegations. Sadly there seems to be a pre-game editor limitation that makes it impossible to re-create the new format of EU competitions 100% correctly.
New Wonderkids by SirTAVARES
This file contains a total of 334 new U21 players on high potential ability. That essentially means new wonderkids.There's a version that includes more players (on lesser PA) as well as new staff available on SirTAVARES' patreon.

A custom start date a year later wasn't a great option for us because all the key data files in this DLC wouldn't have the intended effect. So we opted for the next best thing. Make people 1 year older and their contracts expiring 1 year sooner.There's 1 file for each 'action'. It's up to you, should you wish to use these or not. We reckon using them makes things more akin to real life.

In a nutshell:
This DLC contains 21 .fmf files that need to be placed in your "editor data" folder. Then you must start a new FM24 save, ensuring all files are selected from the database drop down menu at the top.
IMPORTANT:
- A total of 21 files are included in this pack and you can use them all at once if you want to.
- Using other addons which alter the same data might corrupt your game due to conflicting files.
- For example, league expansion addons should be safe to combine.
UPDATING: Replace all existing files from an older pack in your "editor data" folder with those included in the newest version. Then start a new save.
Step by Step
- Extract the contents of the pack you downloaded from here to your editor data folder.
Windows:
\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2024\editor data\
Mac:
~/Library/Application Support/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2024/editor data
The location of the "editor data" folder should be the same on Steam, Epic and Gamepass. If for some reason you can't find it there, go to the Preferences screen in-game and type the word location in the search field at the top. You will see the folder there and change it if you prefer. - Fire up FM24, pick START A NEW GAME, then select CAREER mode.
- On the CAREER GAME SETUP window, hit the DATABASE drop down menu and ensure you are on the 24.3.0 Update and all 19 files of this DLC have a check mark next to them. As explained above, there are 4 optional files you may choose to not enable.
- Hit the Choose Game Mode > button, select ORIGINAL, then hit the Advanced Setup button.
- You're almost there. You might need to wait a bit until the next screen loads up. Once it does, select the leagues you wish to load and set any custom database size options you prefer. And finally hit the Start Game button.
Addons to Safely Combine
As a general thumb of thumb, any addon that's potentially altering the same data as the files included in this DLC might cause conflict and corrupt your save.
Having said that, addons such as league expansions or graphic packs of any kind can be safely combined.

Can I use this pack in combination with other custom (real life, not fantasy)league packs? Also, your pack does it change the champions league into the new format, and is the FIFA club world cup included? Thanks
@Joe20: The Transfer Budgets Fix file by Mcfchazza is optional and you don't have to use it. There's nothing done intentionally to mess things up on our behalf. Certain files which are part of this pack are done by different database modders.
@motag: I can't know if you have other addons installed besides this pack. In theory, if you don't use any other addons which may cause conflict with the files of our DLC, you shouldn't get such errors.
@cockney002: Our DLC doesn't contain a facepack. You can enable showing unique IDs within the in-game Preferences screen in order to see the ID of any player, staff, club, etc. Once you know that, you can add the relevant line for each player in your facepack's config.xml file.
@minsoniskane: What do you mean no updates are applied? Provide an example of something that should be updated but isn't.

I downloaded the FM24 to FM25 DLC today, but I didn’t find many wonderkids from the stated list. Could you please clarify what might be wrong?
I've started a new game, but some of the previous issues are still present. Di Maria is still starting at Rosario Central, and I've noticed that Modric begins the game as a free agent. It seems that the database used might still be partially updated to the 2025/26 season.

May I ask why is it that in Daveincid's increased realism megapack, the file "PLAYER SALARY FIX, and STAFF SALARY FIX" are not recommended to be combined with this dlc?

In Benfica Di Maria was still in the squad in 24/25. He is going to play in rosario central only after the FIFA Club World Cup. Tengstedt was on loan to Hellas Verona in 24/25 to. Players that were on loan to other clubs in 24/25 are now on the squad.
It is outdated and it works incorrectly with "Transfers update" especially in players that have recently extended their contracts. For example, Lamine Yamal:
His contract was extended until 2031, so with the -1 year contracts it should be 2030.
But it is until 2025 in the game. And the same with pretty much any other player who recently extended his contract
With -1 year contract turned off every contract length is correct. This fmf is outdated (contract length reductions were made before new contracts, you can just look at the date the file was created) and it kinda ruins the experience since you have either too long contracts (even if you start the game with a custom start date) or some of them are incorrect.
Please I hope this will be updated.
