Football Manager 2024 Database - ConIFA Database for FM 24 by Chillumu (Club & International)
There are 19 teams present in the FM pre-game editor that are not affiliated to FIFA, and in some cases not to their continental organization either, and thus managing them is a drag, especially for people who like to play/start saves in such countries, which are usually weaker and have poor infrastructure and a limited number of clubs.

This database covers all the tournaments on record, as well as future planned ones, and some fictional ones to make things more competitive for such clubs and nations. This also includes aspects such as awards, formats, dates, and venues.
Besides the fictional tournaments, the database is focused on being as true to the sources as much as possible.

Things are discussed in more detail below, please note the following disclaimers:
  • To be able to manage a national team, you need to have at least 150 eligible players loaded in your save game. For this, you need to have the relevant team's database loaded to be able to play with them. I have provided the links for every country whose database I can find/have created.
  • The number of clubs and their statistics have not been altered. Neither have any player statistics. It is possible that some of the teams are now extinct, but unless conclusive proof of this has been found, no team has been removed.
  • Tournaments have at times been cancelled due to weather or funding issues. The database assumes that cancellations don't occur.
  • There is no prize money in any tournament, as ConIFA doesn't offer prize money to teams, and is run on donations and minor sponsorship
  • As there are no South American countries that are not affiliated to FIFA in the default database, the continent is missing for both international and club tournaments. Some nations that are not recognized by FIFA but geographically part of South America are affiliated to CONCACAF, and thus considered under North America for this database.
  • Though awards and records are listed, new awards and records may not be recorded in some tournaments due to a common bug in FM with created tournaments

The following nations and tournaments are included in this database.
  • Africa:
    • Nations: Mayotte, Reunion, Zanzibar
    • International Tournament: ConIFA African Football Cup - 3 team league stage with final (rotating hosts) - May of every odd year
    • Continental Club Tournament: ConIFA African Champions League - Group stage with semifinals and finals (Double leg) - February to March. Since Zanzibar sends clubs to CAF tournaments, its clubs are not included in this tournament. No. of berths assigned by league sizes, with automatic qualification for previous year's winner.

  • Asia:
    • Nations:North Mariana Islands (NMI)
    • International Tournament:Since NMI is the only Asian country in the game not affiliated to FIFA, Asia has no regional tournaments, and NMI and its league winning clubs get a direct entry into the World Cup and the Club World Cup respectively. The game does add NMI into AFC Asian Cup qualification from 2024 (incorrectly as this isn't the case IRL), so it has been retained as a ConIFA member in this database.

  • Europe:
    • Nations: Crimea, Monaco, Pays Basque
    • International Tournament: ConIFA European Football Cup - 3 team league stage with final (rotating hosts) - June to July of every odd year
    • Continental Club Tournament:Since Crimea is the only country of the three with clubs, there is no continental club competition, and the winner of the Crimean PL has a chance of directly entering the Club World Cup

  • North America:
    • Nations: Bonaire, French Guiana, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Saint Martin, Sint Maarten Saint Barthelemy, Saint Pierre & Miquelon
    • International Tournaments:
    • ConIFA North American Football Cup - 2 team double leg final - May of every odd year. Contested only by Saint Barthelemy and Saint Pierre & Miquelon as all the other nations are part of CONCACAF and participate in their tournaments.
ConIFA North American World Cup Qualifiers - 6-8 teams league stage (double leg) - International breaks. The top 6 teams qualify for the upcoming World Cup (WC). If the previous WC winners or the next WC hosts are from North America, they are exempted from the qualifiers.
    • Continental Club Tournament: ConIFA Caribbean Shield - 4-5 team league stage with final (rotating hosts) - August to September. Contested only by clubs from Saint Barthelemy and Saint Pierre & Miquelon as all the other nations are part of CONCACAF and participate in their tournaments. No. of berths assigned by reputation, with automatic qualification for previous year's winner.

  • Oceania:
    • Nations: Micronesia, Kiribati, Tuvalu, Wallis & Fortuna Islands
    • International Tournament: ConIFA Oceania Football Cup - League stage with final (rotating hosts) - September of every odd year

    • Continental Club Tournament: ConIFA Oceania Champions League - 8 team group stage with semifinals, finals, & position playoffs (rotating hosts) - September. No. of berths assigned by reputation, with automatic qualification for previous year's winner.

  • World:
    • International Tournament: ConIFA World Football Cup - 16 team Group stage with quarters, semis, finals, & position playoffs (rotating hosts) - May to June of every even year. Continents assigned berths based on the the number of ConIFA members (minimum of 1). Continental competitions act as qualifiers (except North America) with the host and previous winners qualifying automatically

    • Continental Club Tournament: ConIFA Club World Cup - 10 team group stage with quarters, semis, finals,& position playoffs (rotating hosts) - December to January of every even year. Continents assigned berths based on the the number of ConIFA members playing club tournaments (minimum of 1). Continental competitions act as qualifiers, with the host and previous winners qualifying automatically.

Awards & Records: Realistic Awards have been used for the tournaments that have already occurred, with the fictional tournaments mirroring them. Though records and awards have been fixed, they may not be displayed in some cases due to an issue with FM itself.

The databased has been tested in game for 30 years. Thanks to the creators of the links shared, especially MasterIgor.

Please let me know if any errors need to be fixed, or if you need an alternative database with some changes.

is there any way to stop the u21 teams playing in international comps?

Is this database compatible with all of MasterIgor's databases? If not, is there a way you can make it compatible?

I would like FIFA competitions to keep working as it should but to also have CONIFA working as an alternate federation at the same time, just like real life.

Hey Jorgen, sorry for the late reply.
I do not intend to add those nations, as it is really difficult to alter extinct nations to increase the nation pool. I've tried it before and it doesn't work well in game.

No I don't think you need to unload those nations, it should be able to pick the leagues from the databases unless their IDs were changed or they were made from scratch.

No edits in current tournaments, this is designed to work with the major databases that people share.

And yes, for CONCACAF, the nations do play CONCACAF tournaments (which is why these nations aren't in the ConIFA version, but they aren't allowed in FIFA tournaments so they are there in the ConIFA WC. North Mariana Islands is the only asian team so there is no AFC competition, and they are not allowed to participate in FIFA WC, so they get to be in this one.

I now see that you have added all those leagues to your text. Except for Monaco, Crimea and Pays Basque I already had all of them from other editors. And clubs from Monaco, Crimeo and Pays Basque are already playable in the default database I guess. What would happen if I don't add those 3 nations and only your CONIFA world cup and CONIFA Champions League?

Do you have any plans adding Greenland, Falkland Islands, Palau, Nauru, Niue, Vatican City, Tibet, Ascension/St. Helena/Tristan da Cunha, Northern Cyprus, or Marshall Islands?

Some databases I have already offer Wallis & Futuna, Zanzibar, Northern Mariana Islands, Sint Maarten, etc. I suspect I have to unload those nations for this to work. Am I right?

Am I also right to assume that you have not edited any exiting continent or continental competitions? Most people who make non-Fifa nations will also edit UEFA Champions League or UEFA Championship whitch gives other problems, so I am looking for a database which keeps all existing international and continental tournaments as they are.

What happens with teams who are already in CONCACAF or AFC tournaments? Like St. Maarten and N. Marianas. Will they continue playing there?

@jundiye: Sorry, but I have been unable to incorporate that yet because of time constraints. I will try to include that sometime in the future, or in FM 25, but not any time soon. Part of the reason is that it is unusual for such underdeveloped countries to have proper youth teams, or in some cases, they only have youth teams.

Pls add for U23, U21, U19 Team.. My u19s Country doesnt have any match or agenda

I believe it is possible, the country needs to be marked as world-wide governing body member in the pre game editor, and then inducted into the nations league in the editor. However, making the transition within the game, where the nations gets recognized at a certain point in time in the future (like it would IRL) is impossible.

@Chillumu - yeah, I've loaded your OFC one, thanks. So is there no way to make a tiny European nation recognised by UEFA in the pre-editor, and make non-FIFA nations get ranked and recognised by FIFA??
  • Chillumu's avatar
    Thanks! :)
If you're talking about the national teams, then yes that is correct. For Monaco, just getting to the final of the European Championships should be enough, while for Kiribati, even coming third might be enough.

For nations league, Monaco can't be included as it's not recognized by UEFA. You can however, download my OFC nations league database if you want a nations league participation for Kiribati, as it officially an associate member of OFC and can be part of the 13 team nations league I have created.

This is brilliant - I'll integrate it into my editor data folder now. To clarify, if a Monaco or Kiribati win their regional tournaments, can they qualify for the initial stages of the official World Cup, regional Nations League etc? i.e. compete with the big boys?
