That wasn't the best of months but I am sure with a bit of leadership and inspiring team talks you can turn round the club's fortunes. I'm confident you will avoid relegation. Good luck for the remainder of the season.

Thanks James, I will need all the luck I can get! :P
Been reading through this gradually the last couple of days and it is superb! I was a bit skeptical when I saw you had chosen Bono to be your manager, I'm not usually one for stuff like that, but it's a great story.

You've done a fantastic job in getting Vauxhall Motors to the Football League. Hopefully within the next few seasons we will see you banging on the doors of the Premier League.

Thank you for the generous words :) I will strive to one day reach the glorious heights of the Barclays Premier League! :)
Not doing brilliantly so far in League 2, but I'm sure you'll pull it around.

Some managers would have give up one when you were struggling in Blue Square Bet Premier.
I'm sure the results will pick up. Keep it up :)

Thanks guys, I'm going to keep battling on until Vauxhall are the greatest team in football history! :)

Season Four: January Update

We came in to the new year with one target; to avoid relegation. We wanted to start well to help gain some motivation to push on and keep performing. Hopefully we could do this.

Well, we started brightly with an exciting win over Accrington at their own place but from then on, we struggled to get a foothold in any game. We were dismantled easily by Luton, York and Burton before Oxford beat us by the skin of their teeth. They didn't deserve to win that game but we need to move on and look to get results from somewhere.

We are now just a single point away from the relegation zone and that is due to us having the worst defensive record in the league. We have conceded 65 goals in 33 games and we need to patch up our defensive if we want to survive.

February Fixtures

We have just three games next month which will help our players recover from any injuries. We will be training hard on our defensive positioning in order to aid our plight. If we can stay strong at the back, we can focus on going forward and scoring a few. Hopefully we can survive!
Unlucky, I hope you survive!

That's an unlucky month. Let's hope you stay up!

Thanks for reading guys. Hopefully we can scrape enough points to keep us up this season. Next season is when I will be changing everything up again, hopefully that will work to my advantage. :)

Season Four: February Update

With our drop down the table starting to become more and more rapid, we needed to somehow patch ourselves up and climb out of our grave. With the players lacking the motivation to continue on, this would be a hard final three months.

We lost all three of our games, and in a devastating way. The squad looked miserable, and they didn't have the motivation or the confidence to play their football. There was no spark in the team and these results showed that. The defence crumbled under pressure, the midfield gave away the ball too cheaply and the forwards lacked composure in front of goal. This needs to change!

We have deservedly dropped down to last place in the league, and we deserved to. Vauxhall Motors is looking to be back on the way down to non-league football. With the team, the fans and the finances in bit, the impossible has just gotten harder.

March Fixtures

We have six increasingly tough fixtures next month which will do us no favours what so ever. If there was ever a time for miracles, it is now!
Sad to see you in last, but I hope you can pull things together and stay up, I don't want Vauxhall back in the Blue Square :(

Time For Heroes

"This season has been a real challenge for us. This has been our first year in the Football Leagues, the "big time". The difference in class is massive, there was no way to prepare for this. From day one, we were constantly knocked down, kicked in the dirt and then laughed at. We step up for the challenge and we get knocked over with extreme ease.

We have no money, no confidence and no luck. But what we do have left is our pride and our belief. We need to pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, and play our football. This is the hardest thing anybody can do, to recover from a season like ours. We need to play every game like it is our last game, because it might just be. Vauxhall Motors will go bankrupt if we cannot stay in the Football League for another season.

Our faith has not yet been decided. We still have ten games to turn our season around and to pull off another magic trick. We can still escape the trap that is relegation and push on to the pinnacle of world football. The fans need to support us on our way, we want to hear songs being chanted and cheers when we play. Most importantly, it is up to the players to play their hearts out. It is a time for heroes, who has what it takes?"
