This is a great idea! Nice to get an insight into a more personal side of him :P KUTGW
Clearly, the pressure of being Vauxhall boss has got to Bono's head, and he has decided to release his inner six year old :P
#ThePathToPowerForStoryoftheYear?

Nice diary entry by Bono there. Looks like you're 2nd for now, but you have a game in hand anyway. Just keep pushing on!

Tony Garbutt looks awesome :)

Good luck for February!

Crazy to think your biggest signing ever is £200,000. That should be smashed a few times next season if you get promoted. Glad you stayed at Vauxhall too. reading the decision got me thinking you had accepted the Celtic job halfway through.
Thanks guys, onwards and upwards now! :)

Season Eight: February Update

After slipping down to second in the league, we faced a struggle to climb back up to first. Could we do it?

Results

We started off the month with wins over Swansea and Derby before our most difficult game of the season, a game against Fulham in the FA Cup. We ended up demolishing them 3-0 in what was an unbelievably one-sided game for us. We then beat Ipswich before Crystal Palace pegged us back with a 2-0 defeat. We did well this month, and I am especially delighted that we have reached the quarter finals of the FA Cup.

Player of the Month

Niels Andersen is my player of the month for February. He has been fantastically solid for us recently and has contributed enormously to our clean sheets. He has been brilliant for us and will hopefully even improve on this.

NPower Championship

We are still second now, although only by a single point now. Our goal difference is constantly improving which is very pleasing. Promotion looks very likely now, with nine points between us and third placed Sunderland, while we have a game-in-hand and only ten games left to play. Hopefully we can secure promotion soon and focus on challenging for the league title.

Fixtures

We have five difficult fixtures next month. If we can beat Sunderland, we should have promotion in the bag. I'm looking for ten points from next month. Hopefully we can reach this target.

Beware of the Illuminati! :O
Promotion is within touching distance! Maybe that will boost up those crappy finances of yours :P
Absolutely epic work in the Championship and some great update mate! Promotion in touching distance can you reclaim top spot and the riches that go with it?
Hope you can get promoted and hopefully I will join you in the prem with Eastleigh in a few years
Thanks for the positive words guys :)

I apologise for not updating in a while as I have been busy with other stuff, but I will be updating today. I've played the rest of the season so I will update for the last couple of months and do a quick season review, etc., as per usual. Thanks for your patience :)

Season Eight: March-April Update

Welcome back ladies and gentlemen and today I have the final update of the season. We headed in to March with a point separating us and first placed Everton. We were looking to secure promotion and push for the league title, could we do it?

Results

We started off with defeat to Bristol before bouncing back with tight wins over Sunderland and Tranmere. We then suffered another defeat to Sheffield United, before beating Bournemouth to put us in to the FA Cup Semi Finals. We then beat Peterborough, before drawing to Leeds and Birmingham and losing to QPR. Then came our Semi Final, where it took three second half goals for Arsenal to advance over us. We then drew at Goodison Park to newly crowned champions Everton before finishing off with a win away to Barnsley, with Obi Anoruo of all people scoring our final goal of the season. We were too inconsistent towards the end, and you will see the result of this now.

NPower Championship

Everton ran away with the league title by 8 points, while we finished in second place. Crystal Palace were promoted alongside us after winning the play-offs. I'm delighted we won promotion and we have plenty to look forward to in the Premier League!
PREMIER LEAGUE FOOTBALL HERE WE COME! Everton ran away with it but Vauxhall just had to get promoted! Nice to see Obi get that last goal for the club!
Congrats! I'm still struggling to understand how a team with all that money can finish 10th in the Championship though :P
