At least its something :). Can't wait to see it
Welcome back mate :)
Thanks guys, the end of the season was rather dramatic (as usual) :)

Season Six: February-May Update

Hey guys, I'm back with the remaining fixtures! I'll rush through this so I can get to the other updates quickly. We were top of the league by a comfortable margin and we were set to win it. Could we complete the task?

Results

In fifteen games we won seven, drew five and lost three. They weren't great results, with our dry patches in March and April. Our defence were to blame, apart from Zac Fagan who was solid through out. Did we do enough to win the league?

NPower League One

The answer is no. Derby beat us to it by goal difference. It came down to the very last game but they just did enough to win it. We were unlucky, but on the other hand, we finished 2nd when we were expected to finish last. Championship football awaits us next season and we can't wait!

My next updates will be a season review, top five players of the year, and an interview with Paul Hewson. Thanks for reading! :)
That run of two losses followed by two draws really killed you. Unlucky to lose out on the title, but promotion is what really matters. Congrats on reaching the Championship, keep it up! :D

Will you sell the legendary Obi Anoruo next season, or make him lift the Champions League trophy?

What an awesome season! Tough luck on getting pipped to the title on goal difference but at the end of the day you got the place that matters! Excited to see you in the Championship ;)

That's really unlucky! You'll win the Championship next season though, so no worries :P

Yeah unfortunately it did :/ Hopefully we can do well in the Championship next season :)

This season was a pretty good season for him, as you will see soon. If he can keep performing, I have no reason to sell him :P

It was the fourth game so far this season where either silverware or promotion was on the line. Unfortunately our form seems to drop in March/April :/

I blame Adam Rooney for scoring that last minute penalty against us when we played Birmingham, that lost us the league title :/

Let's be optimistic for once, we'll win the treble next season! :P

excited to see who you sign in the Championship

Season Six: Season Review

Our sixth season with Bono in charge of Vauxhall Motors has come to a thrilling and memorable end and I have a season review to show you guys now. Enjoy!

NPower League One

We had a very strong season, with a record of 25-13-8. Our best spell was from October to January, which was when we climbed to the top of the league. As has been a typical trend of ours, our worst form was in March and April, where we lost the league title. We need to improve on this in the future in order to make ourselves a force to be reckoned with.

We were expected to come last and be relegated. Instead of this, we came second by goal difference. This is a huge achievement for us and one we can be proud of for a very long time. We overpowered teams around us and we deserved promotion. We were unlucky not to win the league but these things happen. I also won Manager of the Season for my efforts.

FA Cup

We did pretty well in the FA Cup, in my eyes. We claimed two expected wins before slumping to an expected defeat by Burnley. I'm happy with our run this season and I hope we can do even better next season.

The Final

Capital One Cup

We did very well in the COC this season, it taking Wigan to just beat us. Hopefully we can do even better next season.

The Final

Johnstone's Paint Trophy

I wasn't too concerned about being knocked out by Rochdale early on as this competition doesn't matter to me.

The Final

Stadium Expansion + New Sponsor

So we will be having a much larger stadium in almost a year's time. It's a shame that we will have to rent Halton Stadium until then.

We also got a new stadium sponsor!

_________________________________________________________________________

That concludes my season summary. Up next will be my Players of the Season post. I hope that this has been an enjoyable for read for everybody :)
We are Going up. We are Going up

Well done mate! :P

Great end of season update buddy! The key thing is you're going up and will be able to bring in more players to fight to the top of the Championship. The cup finals were some shock results though considering the teams that were in them! Congrats on manager of the year, well deserved.
