Bayern Munich defender Doria has completed a 10 million move to Real Madrid.

The 25-year-old Brazilian international made 48 appearances in all competitions for Bayern Munich over one and a half year, 31 of them being in the league.

Formerly working with David Beckham at Aston Villa, the England boss took Doria over to Bayern Munich in 2018 for a fee of 11 million. It was a successful debut year for Doria as he won the treble, as well as making 29 league appearances and securing a first-team place in central defense alongside Siyanda Xulu.

However, with the arrival of Eneko Diez and the emergence of Fedele Lenti, Doria has found opportunities hard to come by at the Allianz Arena this season, making only 2 Bundesliga appearances for Die Bayern.

He will now look to continue his splendid career at Real Madrid.

It is believed that Doria was brought in as a replacement for the aging Sergio Ramos. The Spaniard has been a reliable servant of Real for years and years, but is now 33.

"I can't wait to embark on this new challenge," Doria said, speaking to Marca after the confirmation of his move to Real Madrid. "Real Madrid are one of the biggest clubs in the world and to be able to join them is a privilege. Holding down a first-team spot will be quite a challenge but it's a challenge I am delighted to be taking on.

"I also have to thank David Beckham and Bayern Munich. I had some great times with Bayern and I hope to be able to play against them in the Champions League."

Jack Grealish has returned to England after Blackburn Rovers confirmed their purchase of the midfielder for a fee of 3 million.

The 24-year-old joined Bayern Munich in January 2018, being one of David Beckham's first signings at the Munich club, after working closely with him at Aston Villa.

However, with the signing of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Grealish has found opportunities hard to come by - especially with the form of Will Hughes. The former England Under-21 international has only made 1 Bundesliga appearance for Bayern this season.

In 2 years, Grealish made 55 appearances for Bayern Munich in all competitions.

The newest arrival at Ewood Park, who has won 3 caps for the England national team, was confirmed as new Blackburn manager Steve Bruce's first signing for the club.

"Everything went rather quickly," said Grealish. "But I'm glad everything is confirmed now."

He added, "Being part of Bayern Munich was great, and so was working with David again. But I wasn't going to get any more first-team time there so I decided to leave.

"It's good to be back in England. In my opinion, the Premier League here is much better than the Bundesliga. I can't wait to play my first game for Blackburn, to feel the physicality of the Premier League opposition once again."

Bayern Munich start 2020, a new decade, brilliantly with two friendly wins and two Bundesliga wins. Bring on the next 10 years!

It was also a fantastic start to the year for him as he came in the top 3 for both the Ballon d'Or and the World Player of the Year, as well as being awarded the Best European-Based Brazilian award, beating Neymar of Barcelona.

With Ryan Garland out due to injury again, Rodrigo Borges made the step-up once more, and the Portuguese did not disappoint with his excellent defending against Frankfurt and Freiburg.
