Is Mertens a replacement for a shock departure?
@Pompey Yeah, I was annoyed that I didn't win any last year, but hopefully I do this year!

@Louis I like him even more then ;). & Cheers!

@Jeremy He's a replacement for Siggy, however there is somewhat of a 'shock' departure.

Holtby set for Old Trafford?

The German international has failed to sparkle at White Hart Lane

Lewis Holtby has emerged as a shock target for English side, Manchester United.

The German playmaker joined Spurs in January 2013 for a cut-fee price of £1.5m, but has yet to make an impact for Spurs, appearing just 19 times in the league last season.

Borussia Dortmund were believed to be interested in his services, however have since cooled their interest after signing former team-mate Gylfi Sigurðsson.

Tottenham are reluctant to sell the attacking midfielder, but are believed to have a replacement ready if Holtby makes the switch from White Hart Lane to Old Trafford.
Wait why he go to United if he faily at Spurs?
Because Spurs > United duh
@Silas Tell me about it, he's been amazing so far!!

@Neal Haha, me too. Might see if I can get him to train some youngsters.

@Lucas Thanks!

@Jozef Yeah, I'm really suprised I managed to get him so cheaply. Depending on how he does it can raise to £15m, but that's not too bad. He managed 21 goals in 28 for Porto last season in my save, with an average rating of 7.40

@Louis Because Yanited are idiots :P

@Neal You know it!
Great signings! :)
Great signing in Martinez, especially at that fee :P. If you do sell Holtby, I'm guessing you'll do it a high fee :).
Good signing with Martinez! Never thought Holtby was great on FM tbh
