August: Starting the Season

It is not the best of starts for Aston Villa and David Beckham, but they've seen far worst than this. Three points are on the horizon.

Premier League
Wolves 1 - 1 Aston Villa
Fierro

Aston Villa 3 - 3 Chelsea
Campbell
Montero
Mattheus

European Super Cup
Aston Villa 1 - 4 Bayern Munich
Fierro

Daniel Montero has won the Young Player of the Month award after his impressive performances for Aston Villa at the back partnering captain Ciaran Clark.

Walcott's Return to London

Aston Villa winger and England international Theo Walcott has left after just one season with the club to join Tottenham for 7.5 million.

The 27-year-old received offers from Manchester City and Tottenham after Villa offered him around the market, having secured the signature of Gokmen Hacieyupoglu, which made Walcott surplus to requirements.

However, Walcott has turned down the offer from City to make a return to North London with Tottenham Hotspur.

Arsenal fans will not be happy that Walcott, associated with Arsenal from 2006 to 2015, has accepted an offer from Tottenham knowing that the Spurs are fierce rivals with the Gunners.

Walcott, who was a part of the England squad that made it to the Euro 2016 Final, has brushed this off and described Tottenham as a "fantastic club".

"I am obviously sad to leave Aston Villa after just one season, where I had a lot of fun, but Tottenham are also a fantastic club and I can't wait to play for them.

"I know I've played for Arsenal before but I hope the Tottenham fans will accept me because I know I am going to be a success here."

In his short time at Villa, Walcott scored 3 goals in 26 Premier League appearances, as well as 9 goals in 43 appearances in all competitions. He also lifted the Europa League.

A lot of deals for Aston Villa in the month of August as they strengthened their squad considerably while at the same time getting in some promising youth.

So.. Marilia and GASHKGJLSGSDKG are first team starters?
Marilia and Hacie are definitely first teamers :D

About CL qualification, I don't know, but I have a strong feeling this year is our year ;)

Even if I didn't already know I could tell just from that line you are a Liverpool fan :P

It looks like you are definitely planning for the future with these signings. You seem to have paid a lot of money for players who surely won't be playing for a season or two? Or do you plan on integrating them straight away?

I only pay big money if I think they can be first-teamers ;) Highest I've paid for a player who I think I won't use for at least 2-3 years is 4 million, not planning to exceed that record.
Hachim Matsour potential 3 :/? Are your scouts high?!
Some pretty good regens there, I'm sure they will star for your team ;)
Theo Walcott at Spurs!

Anyways, good luck with the upcoming season. Theo Walcott will secure the treble for Spurs. Him and his stuck sprint button.

You've put together a class team here! Should have kept Xabi though even if for just tutoring (and he's in my top 3 favorite players ;) )
