Adjusting Training Settings Depending On Results
Written by JusticeI previously explained about how Team Training Focus works, and what each focus specifically accomplishes. Depending on how your team performs and the results from matches, alongside training results, you should continue to tweak your training sessions. Variety offers specialisation in more areas and this could prove to be effective.
How do you adjust your training? Firstly, you should always focus on getting results in matches and you should prepare in training accordingly. If your team is struggling defensively, focus on improving defensive skills in training. The same applies to attacking, ball control or whatever other aspect is important and can be trained. This starts with Team Training, and works all the way down to Individual Training.
Once you have applied this philosophy, you can then focus on the individual needs of each player. You can then look at how your players react to certain types of training and work appropriately. Does a player prefer training in one Individual Role or another? The role which produces the best training results is your answer. If the training results aren’t good enough, consider changing it up and training a different role. If you can find which training role suits a player best, you will find the best results possible.
